TR1333S3R-R2 SAS to SAS Storage System
Capitalizing on
the TopRAID heritage of time-proven designs in combination with next
generation 3Gb/s serial-attached SCSI (SAS) technology, the 1333
storage system allows growing Small to Medium Businesses (SMBs) to take
advantage of shared-storage benefits including consolidation, single
management and increased efficiencies within their IT infrastructure.
The
1333 storage system’s modular design creates an affordable entry-point
without sacrificing future scalability – enabling customers to start
small and grow big. Dual-active controllers with up to 12 drives in a
2U enclosure create a fully-featured and reliable storage system. And
when capacity and/or functionality requirements change, the 1333
supports up to 36 additional drives and offers key-enabled features for
additional functionality.
With
six host-side SAS interfaces, the 1333 storage system can provide three
servers with redundant connections – enabling capacity-efficient
storage consolidation without the need of a storage network. The 1333
was designed to improve productivity through higher performance,
increased data protection and advanced functionality. Shared storage
provides improved efficiency by enabling busy storage administrators to
reduce the number of individual systems that need to be managed and
maintained. And with clustering, availability is further supported by
allowing an application to keep running on a secondary (failover)
server should the primary server fail.

The
TR1333S3S-R2 storage system has the same key features and benefits of the TR1333S3R-R2
system (3Gb/s SAS performance, data protection, scalability and
functionality), yet offers one single controller.
